Visual Banquet: Creating a Digital Masterpiece

In the case study of McCool's Pub and Grill, located in Clackamas, Oregon, we embarked on a transformative journey to establish their online presence and brand identity from the ground up. Our challenge was to attract a wider customer base, both locals and tourists, and maintain a competitive edge in the ever-changing food and beverage industry.

We designed a distinctive website and comprehensive branding package. The website, featuring a lively and contemporary design with a user-friendly interface, not only highlights McCool's menu but also emphasizes their community involvement and events.

We reimagined the branding's look and feel, capturing the essence of their Irish pub while infusing it with a contemporary twist - a family-friendly sports bar with an Irish flair. We started brainstorming how to approach this project, given the plethora of fantastic elements to draw from. Shamrocks, pints of beer, Gaelic motifs, and the lively atmosphere of an Irish pub. Our aim was to incorporate design elements that would stay minimal, letting the visuals speak for themselves. Below, you'll find early designs that capture the essence of McCool's Pub and Grill.

When we began the ideation process for McCool's Pub and Grill, we quickly determined that green would be the primary color for the brand, reflecting its Irish roots. We also wanted to incorporate elements that celebrated both the sports bar atmosphere and Irish heritage. We ultimately decided on incorporating shamrocks and Gaelic motifs.

The chosen green was blended throughout the site with small pops of color, such as gold, to guide users on where to click and explore. Our aim was to keep the visitor's journey straightforward and intuitive, matching the simplicity of the overall design.

One of the most crucial aspects of the site design was the imagery and section layout. We focused initially on the individual project design, ensuring there was ample room for future growth. The custom elements we created are unique and engaging, specifically tailored for McCool's Pub and Grill.
